Master Agreements Specialist
As the Master Agreements Specialist you will be responsible for utilizing your in-depth understanding of our customer agreements including by not limited to pricing, escalation terms, cancellation, notice provisions, etc. This position will ensure that terms are adhered to, accurate pricing is entered into and maintained in our internal systems, and notifications of pricing changes per agreement terms are provided, etc. You will be expected to routinely audit and review agreement terms (including pricing), be heavily involved in bid awards and implementation, and have a good working relationship with our Sales, Corporate Proposals and Customer Experience teams.

Success in this role requires a strong work ethic, ability to analyze and maintain data, solid organizational skills, self-accountability and excellent communication.

Essential Functions & Requirements:

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
  • Works to maintain and develop a master database of agreements, with the strategic intention to automate
  • Reviews and provides approval of all changes to existing quotes for customers with agreements
  • Develops and utilizes an in-depth understanding of our internal systems with the ability to enter and manipulate quotes
  • Conducts regular audits on existing agreements
  • Partners with Corporate Proposals and Customer Experience to establish price quotes for new customers
  • Maintains responsibility for implementing price increases per customer agreements, ensuring they are done accurately and in accordance with the terms and agreements
  • Conducts regular reviews of existing Customer Price Lists (CPLs) for current pricing
  • Reviews all new CPLs entered for accuracy and follows through on implementation
  • Confirms all price agreements are uploaded properly into our systems and all pertinent notifications to agreement owners are generated
  • Partners with the Sales team during Company price increases to ensure precise application
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of our internal systems and workflows related to price management
  • Regularly conducts audits of invoices for customers with price agreements
  • Continuously reviews our pricing processes for gaps and partners with leadership to offer system improvement ideas regarding price management and accuracy
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (required)

Experience:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a customer service, office administration, data analytics or sales role (required)
  • Previous experience in the hazardous waste or environmental field (preferred)

Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel and Access
  • Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills, with the ability to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies and inaccuracies in data sets
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively
  • Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
