Senior Director, Infrastructure
The Senior Director, Infrastructure will the lead the transformation of Arcwood's enterprise technology foundation – driving a future-ready infrastructure that is secure, resilient, scalable, and build for innovation. This strategic leader will oversee the architecture, implementation, and performance of critical platforms spanning help desk services, data centers, networks, telecommunications, cloud environments, and DevOps practices.

Reporting to the Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO), this role will serve as the leader on infrastructure strategy and operations, ensuring seamless alignment between technology capability and evolving business needs. This role is core to Arcwood's digital transformation and growth agenda-enabling operational excellence, accelerating delivery, and supporting exceptional user experiences across a distributed enterprise.

The Senior Director, Infrastructure will also lead infrastructure for M&A initiatives, identifying and realizing technology synergies while maintaining performance, security, and cost efficiency across newly combined environments. Essential Functions & Requirements:

Infrastructure Strategy & Leadership

  • Defines and executes Arcwood's infrastructure strategy aligned with growth, innovation, and long-term digital transformation goals
  • Leads modernization initiatives focused on automation, including cloud enablement, security, and operational resilience
  • Inspires and guides internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure technology services

Core Platform Oversight
Enables robust performance and continuous improvement across all infrastructure domains:

  • Help Desk/End-User Support: Deliver timely, user-centered service
  • Data Centers & Hosting: Ensure uptime, availability, and disaster recovery preparedness
  • Networks & Telecommunications Maintain secure, high-performing enterprise connectivity
  • Cloud Services: Optimize hybrid/cloud strategy with a focus on cost, performance, and governance
  • DevOps & Platform Engineering: Advance infrastructure-as-code practices, automation, and CI/CD enablement

Operational Excellence

  • Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level objectives (SLOs) for infrastructure performance, availability, and incident response
  • Oversees vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery to ensure alignment and value
  • Owns and manages infrastructure budget; partners closely with finance to maintain accurate forecasts and actuals
  • Ensures mature practices around change, incident, and problem management

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Partners with cybersecurity leaders to safeguard infrastructure and resolve vulnerabilities
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and internal standards related for availability, data protection, and recovery
  • Proactively mitigates infrastructure risks through strategic capacity planning and business continuity practices

Team Development & Culture

  • Builds and mentors a high-impact infrastructure team with a culture of excellence with innovation
  • Fosters collaboration across architecture, cybersecurity, data, and digital product teams
  • Champions a service-driven mindset and continuous improvement culture
  • Strengthens relationships with strategic technology vendors and partners

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or related field (required)
  • Master's degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role (required)
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-wide infrastructure across data centers, cloud environments, and network architectures (required)
  • Demonstrated success leading IT operations in fast-paced, distributed, and security-sensitive environments (required)
  • Experience overseeing service desk or end-user support functions, with a strong customer focus (required)
  • Experience in M&A integrations with continuous improvement and optimization mindset (required)
